Two suspects in Victoria home invasion released with conditions

Bail hearings for Jordan Aubie, 27, and Rocky Nicholson, 56, were held in the Habrour Grace provincial courthouse recently.

Nicholson was released on a $5,000 bail, whereas Aubie was released under recognizance.

Both men, alongside a third suspect – Paul Hanlon (50), were allegedly involved in a break and enter and assault in a Victoria home on Sunday, Sept. 3. The three men are facing charges of break and enter with intent, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and wearing a disguise with intent.

According to an RCMP news release, two of the suspects, along with two people in the home were brought to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries following the incident.

Hanlon’s bail hearing is set for Sept. 18, while both Aubie and Nicholson’s matters have been set over to Oct. 11.
