* On the initial count, there was a tie between Colbourne and Hillier at 133 votes. A draw was held to break the tie and Hilier won. On Sept. 28, a recount was conducted determining that Colbourne had received 133 votes to Hillier’s 132. The recount was conducted a second time, confirming this result.

ST. LUNAIRE-GRIQUET, NL – Seven councillors were elected in St. Lunaire-Griquet Sept. 26, with a draw held to break a tie between Gerald Hillier and incumbent mayor Dale Colbourne for the last available spot.
