Residents in one C.B.S. neigbourhood awoke Tuesday to find their streets much busier than usual.
A couple of RNC cruisers and the Rovers Search and Rescue truck were parked at 13 Comerford’s Road in the Upper Gullies area of the town.
The RNC were called to the home at 8:10 p.m. Monday. A number of units, including the K-9 team and forensic identification officers, responded, along with two ambulances and the Rovers.

Just after 7 a.m. today, the front door to the house was open behind the storm door, the window to the front living room was open and a "For Rent" sign was seen directly below the main living room window.

Police tape surrounded the home. A cruiser was parked on the street with the Rover’s vehicle and another cruiser was backed into the fenced yard driveway, which contained, among other things, an older model white van, a dark-coloured compact car, a lawn mower and a barbecue.

There was no visible activity in the house and the neighbours went about their business of returning to work after a long weekend, getting their children off to school as the bus rolled through at 8:20 a.m.
The Telegram has reached out to the RNC for an update on what occurred at the scene and will publish that information when it becomes available.
