Woman charged with drunk driving in Mount Pearl

Mount Pearl, N.L. — Shortly before midnight Thursday, the RNC pulled over a driver in Mount Pearl to find she had open liquor in her vehicle. The 28-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving, and driving over 80 mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
A ticket was issued under the Liquor Control Act for having open liquor.
The woman’s vehicle was impounded and she was released to appear in court at a later date.
