Youth in custody after ruckus at St. John's medical facility

The RNC is looking to speak to anyone who may know something about an incident in which at least one gunshot was fired at a home on Chaytor's Avenue in the Chamberlains area of Conception Bay South Wednesday night.

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers were called out to a disturbance at a St. John's medical facility suppertime Tuesday, police said in the overnight report Wednesday.

A 17-year-old female was charged with assault causing bodily harm, mischief by damaging property, and breach of court order.

The youth was held in custody to appear in court.
