BOTWOOD, NL – A 91-year-old man from Grand Falls-Windsor is facing impaired driving charges after he allegedly struck another vehicle with his truck on Route 350 near Botwood on Saturday evening, Feb. 17.
According to the Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP, both vehicles suffered extensive damaged but no one was injured in the collision.
The man, whose truck was impounded, has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired and operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.
He was released from custody and is due back in Grand Falls-Windsor Provincial Court in May.
