A 35-year-old man will appear in court Wednesday on a number of charges that came as the result of a domestic disturbance in Foxtrap Tuesday afternoon.
The RNC were called to the area and were informed the suspect in the disturbance had left the area with a female in the vehicle.
He was located by RCMP on the Trans-Canada Highway in the area near Foxtrap and after being pulled over fled the scene on foot.
The RCMP employed its K9 unit to help locate the man who was taken into custody and handed over to RNC who charged him with common assault, overcoming resistance by chocking, breaching an undertaking and dangerous driving. He was also sought on an outstanding warrant.
