MARYSTOWN, NL – A 32-year-old man has been charged with drug trafficking following a search of a residence in Marystown on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 22.
Gerard Brake was also charged with possessing property obtained by crime.
The RCMP’s federal serious and organized crime unit in Burin carried out the search warrant with the help of the officers from the Marystown detachment.
Police seized 26.4 grams of cocaine, oxycodone pills, cash and stolen property.
Brake is scheduled for a bail hearing in Grand Bank Provincial Court this afternoon.
