BELLEVUE BEACH, N.L. – The RCMP successfully talked a man who had barricaded himself inside a home in Bellevue Beach in to coming out this morning, June 13.
The RCMP received a report of the incident at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to a release.
Police officers from the RCMP detachments in Whitbourne and Placentia responded to the scene. After communicating with the man for about an hour and a half, he was escorted from the home.
There were no injuries.
The man was detained under the Mental Health Care and Treatment Act.
