Two males were sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a serious collision between a motorcycle and dirt bike late Thursday afternoon on Peacekeepers Way near Lawrence Pond Road.
A small dirt bike was crossing the busy highway when it was struck by a west-bound full-size motorcycle. The dirt bike was left lying in the road and the full-size motorcycle was in a ditch approximately 75 metres away. Accident investigators were on scene documenting the wreck.
The highway was closed in both lanes between Legion Road and Lawrence Pond Road while police worked.
