One man taken to hospital following collision in Paradise Sunday morning

One man was taken to hospital Sunday morning following a single-vehicle collision into a ditch on Ridgewood Drive in Paradise at about 10 a.m. A witness on scene told the Telegram that it appeared the driver may have suffered a serious medical issue during or after the collision that left a van tipped at an angle in the ditch. Firefighters used a brace to secure the vehicle as police closed the road to investigate the incident. No information was available as to the nature of the victim’s injuries or condition.
