All facilities in Paradise will be back on track come Monday, after a deal was reached on Friday afternoon between the town and it's workers union.
According to NAPE president Jeremy Earle, the deal includes a salary increase of 6 per cent (2017 – retroactive), 2 per cent (2018), 2 per cent (2019), and 2 per cent (six months – Jan. 1 to June 30, 2020), and a $200 signing bonus.
The deal was made a little over a week after workers voted in favour of the strike.
“Our team worked hard to reach the best possible deal for our members,” said Earle. “We are pleased to see that the agreement was satisfactory to the membership at the Town of Paradise.”
