A story of a priest accused of abuse, friendship and a long search for justice
Piita Irniq, one of a generation of Inuit leaders who took his people from igloos to iPhones, has seen and accomplished much, but one loose end haunts him.
A Royal Newfoundland Constabulary patrol car.
Police say when they looked into a report of a stolen vehicle Wednesday night, they arrested the owner for impaired driving as it is alleged she drove to the scene in a second car.
The 43-year-old female owner of the stolen vehicle was arrested for impaired driving and refusal of a breathalyzer demand when she apparently drove to the investigation scene around 10:45 p.m., the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said in its overnight report.
She will appear in court at a later date.
