Come Home to St. Brendan’s — Community planning 25th annual reunion

The community of St. Brendan’s may be small but they have a lot pride in their home. The area will celebrate their 25th Come Home year this summer, July 27-31, and Mayor Veronica Broomfield said the town has come together to organize events that people of all ages can enjoy.

“We’ve put together committees for each event and it was great to see so many people come out in support of their home,” she said. “People have come out to help whatever way they can; volunteering to help cook, clean, organize, whatever we need.”

Mayor Broomfield encourages anyone who wants to learn more about the community of St. Brendan’s, anyone who has never been to the area, or anyone who wants to participate in the come home year to mark the calendar and save the date.
