RNC request assistance in robbery investigation

The RNC is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man responsible for a robbery at a convenience store in the west end of St. John’s.

On July 8, 2018 at 4:50 p.m., members of the RNC’s operational patrol services division and forensic identification services responded to a robbery at Marie’s Mini Mart on Blackmarsh Road. The man left the scene prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

The suspect is described as being between 5’7 and 6’2 with a thick build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hoodie, black hat and black sunglasses.
