St. John’s, N.L. —A 32-year-old man was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. this morning after being stopped on Allandale Road. He was charged with impaired driving and refusal of the Breathalizer. He is scheduled to appear in court today (Saturday).

Friday night saw a couple of notable traffic stops, one in the Goulds and one in the centre area of St. John’s.

Around midnight, the RNC pulled over a 27-year-old woman on Meadow Brook Park Road in the Goulds.
She was ticketed for operating an unregistered vehicle, failure to transfer ownership of a vehicle and operating without valid insurance. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Earlier in the evening, around  9:30 p.m. a traffic stop in the centre city area resulted in a 60-year-old man being nabbed for driving an unregistered vehicle and operating without valid insurance. The vehicle was impounded.
