Paradise resident Trevor Hamlyn's family is desperate to find him.

"Home was the last place he was seen," said his sister, Ashley. "He's vanished."

The 33-year-old was reported missing to police by his family since he hasn't been heard from since Saturday.

The family have put out an appeal on Facebook to find him.

His sister said the last person who had contact with him is his roommate and his cell phone is broken.

Hamlyn operates a siding business and grew up in Mount Pearl.

"He's just a happy sociable guy," said Ashley Hamlyn.

Later Wednesday, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary issued a news release about Hamlyn's disappearance.

He is described as being 5’10” in height, weighing 230 pounds, and has a bald head with a goatee.

The RNC said it has concerns for Hamlyn's well-being.

Anyone who has information pertaining to the whereabouts of Hamlyn is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
