St. John’s, N.L. —Being in a hurry didn’t pay for one man Saturday night.
The RNC tracked the eastbound vehicle around 9:15 on the Outer Ring Road travelling more than 160 km/hr.
As a result of recent legislation to ensure road safety, the operator was charged under the Highway Traffic Act, and issued a three-day suspension.
His vehicle was also impounded for exceeding the posted limit by more than 50 km/hr.
