St. John’s, N.L. — An emergency 911 call that ended in the caller hanging up had the RNC responding to the center of the St. John’s 8:30 Saturday monring.
A 75-year-old man was arrested for assault with a weapon against a police officer. He was brought to court where he assaulted a Sheriff’s Officer and was charged with one additional count of assaulting a peace officer.
There were no injuries sustained as a result of this incident.
