A 23-year-old St. John’s man has been arrested for multiple armed robberies that have occurred in the metro area starting on Feb. 12.
Following an investigation, the man was arrested on Tuesday at around 7 p.m.
The man was taken into custody and held in city lockup until he appears in court Wednesday.
He is charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of possession of dangerous weapon that was sued for a dangerous purpose and one count of carrying a concealed weapon.
The charges stem from three robberies that occurred in the downtown area including a convenience store robbery on Feb. 12 and two robberies on Feb. 17, one a service station robbery and a second convenience store incident.
