St. John’s man’s vehicle seized after traffic stop

St. John’s, N.L. — The RNC seized a 50-year-old man’s vehicle Saturday afternoon after he was discovered driving in the east end of the city with no insurance or registration.
Police conducted a traffic safety stop around 1 o’clock. As a result of the stop the driver was issued summary offence tickets for operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, no registration, along with several other summary offence tickets. His vehicle was impounded.
