UPDATED: One man was sent to hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle collision on Blackhead Road in Shea Heights at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The RNC said in a release this morning that while the man's injuries were serious, they were not considered life-threatening.
The motorcycle collided with a Jeep at the intersection of Warford Road and Blackhead Road.
The motorcycle was extensively damaged and was on the road in two pieces.
The road was closed for several hours while police investigate. That investigation continues today.
