A taxi was extensively damaged Saturday night in a moose-vehicle collision but none of the occupants were injured.

The collision happened on Peacekeepers Way in the westbound lane just before Fowler’s Road at about 9:30 p.m. leaving the vehicle blocking one of the lanes of the highway and the dead moose in a nearby ditch.

Traffic was slowed in the area until the scene could be cleared.
