Three-vehicle collision in Mount Pearl sends one woman to hospital Saturday night

A three-vehicle collision Saturday night sent one woman to hospital and caused extensive damage to the vehicles. The collision happened just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Richard Nolan Drive and Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl. Traffic was heavy at the time of the incident with many Christmas shoppers out making last minute purchases in the box store area. The injuries to the woman were not thought to be serious.
