St. John’s, N.L. — A 31-year-old man was arrested in the downtown area of the city around 11:15 Friday night after the RNC noted he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The man was brought to the city lockup for a court appearance Saturday morning.
Later, around 12:30 a.m., police responded to a call for assistance in the city centre in a separate matter. A 34-yearold man was arrested for three breaches of a court order and charged with resisting arrest.
He was held for an appearance before a judge in the morning.
