St. John’s, N.L. —Two drivers had vehicles seized overnight Sunday after police caught them breaking the law.

Shortly after midnight, the RNC pulled over a vehicle in the west end of St John’s after noticing the operator was acting suspiciously. A 37-year-old woman was ticketed for operating without insurance, operating without a valid driver’s licence and failing to transfer ownership of the vehicle. She was released but the vehicle was impounded.

Just before 2 a.m. Sunday police pulled over a vehicle for exceeding the speed limit on Brookfield Road St John’s. A 31-year-old woman was ticketed for driving while under provincial suspension and not having valid insurance. She was released but her vehicle was impounded.
