A 19-year-old man was arrested by The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Sunday evening in St. John's centre following a threats complaint.
He was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm, malicious damage to property and breach of court orders.
He was taken to jail and held overnight pending a court appearance Monday morning.
In another call around 2 p.m. on Sunday, the RNC arrested a 36-year-old man and charged him with unlawfully being in a dwelling and for a breach of a court order.
He too was takien to jail and held overnight pending a court appearance on Monday morning.
A traffic stop at 11 p.m. netted a driver several tickets. The driver received tickets for failing to transfer ownership of the vehicle, driving with a suspended license, no insurance and failing to produce vehicle registration.
Folliowing the changes, the man was released, but his vehicle was impounded.
