Woman allegedly robbed Grand Falls-Windsor convenience store with blood-filled syringe

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, NL – A 28-year-old woman has been charged with armed robbery after a convenience store on Bond Street in Grand Falls-Windsor was held up on Wednesday, April 18.

According to an RCMP news release, the woman was carrying a syringe full of blood and demanded cartons of cigarettes.

Police arrested the woman at a nearby residence.

She is being held in custody and has a court appearance scheduled for today, April 19.
