St. John’s, N.L. — The RNC caught a suspended driver jumping into the back seat of a vehicle in a quick-switch attempt during a traffic stop near the Avalon Mall shortly after midnight Friday
When the vehicle pulled over, the officer saw the female driver move from the driver seat to the back seat. The woman was issued a ticket for operating a vehicle with a suspended licence.
The owner of the vehicle, who was a passenger, was issued a ticket for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate the vehicle and the vehicle was subsequently impounded.
