Wrong man shows up for sign-in at St. John’s RNC headquarters

St. John’s, N.L. — A young man was arrested just before noon Friday when he tried to pass himself off as his father.

After a complaint of obstruction the RNC patrol went to the Constabulary headquarters in St. John’s to arrest the young man after he had attempted to present himself as his father for a required sign-in court condition.

He was conveyed to provincial court to face charges of a breach of court order and obstruction of justice.
