It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our family announces the sudden passing on Thursday, May 10, 2018, Danny Heffernan, in his 50th year. Left to mourn his loss daughters Kaitlyn (Chad), Kristen and his special grandson and little buddy, Eric-his little “pooper”; parents Kevin and Doreen Heffernan; sisters: Lynn Miller (Charlie), Cathy Squires (Richard), Karen Heffernan, Claire Heffernan-Rondeau (Phil), Beth Anne Ryall (David), Roseanne Ryall (Carl), Nancy Heffernan (Gerald) and brother Sean Heffernan; loads of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends from all over. We’ve lost our “wonder boy”, the leap year baby! Though his time was short on this earth, he left a lasting impression on everyone he knew. We will always miss the way his eyes twinkled when he laughed, his quick wit and his amazing sense of humor. He loved the outdoors and took every opportunity to glory in nature. Through all his life’s tribulations, he never lost his joy for life or his bright, sunny outlook. He took great pleasure in his “creations” and made just about anything he needed. He was a fun loving happy soul. He was well loved. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home,84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation may be made in his memory to the Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice.
