Florence Hilda Hayes

Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Sunday, April 8, 2018 Florence Hilda Hayes age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Mark (2001) and son Samuel. Left to celebrate her life are four sons Donald (Marie), Gordon, Harrison (April) and George (Angela); four daughters Louise Penney, Alfreda Thomson (Glen), Florence Bailey (Don) and Rowena Putt also 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren as well as her sister Daisy Clarke (Cyril) of Charlottetown, Labrador. Special thank you to the staff, volunteers and residents of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for all their care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Monday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation.
