George Joseph Mcguire

Passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, George Joseph McGuire Jr., age 64 years. He was predeceased by his parents George and Mary McGuire and his in-laws Nick and Daisy Furlong. Left with fond and loving memories, his wife Deb; son Gregory; daughter Melanie and his reason for living Tyler, Ben and Jack – pop’s boys. George also leaves to mourn, his brothers Pat (Leona), Gerard (June) and Gary (Wanda); George’s in-laws the Furlong family and many nieces and nephews. The journey is over, and we would like to extend thanks to Dr. Al-Asaaed, Dr. Sathya and Dr. D.N. Drover; to all the nurses and staff in the chemo department; to Jean Ann and Trudy and to the staff at Palliative Care. George will be missed by many family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from St. Teresa’s Church at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Paradise Elementary - Kids Eat Smart Program.
