Gordon Joseph Halley

Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by parents Catherine and James Halley, sister Helen, brother Jim and grandson Mathew. Left with fond and loving memories wife Violet Halley; daughters: Patricia (Herb Chislett), Judi (Clyde Lush), Janet (Dave Penny), Christine (Mike Foley), Eileen (Tony Turco) and Sheila; sons: Paul (Eunju) and Gordon (Monette); grandchildren: Jessica, Jason, Justin, Richard, Megan, Jordan, Gregory, Genevieve, Samuel, Liam and Henry; great-grandchild Madison and brother Dennis Halley. Gordon was born and spent his early years “Out the Battery” in St. John’s.” A quiet, kind and well respected man to everyone who know him. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed and in our memories forever. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
