Greta Sylvia Flight

R.N. (Ret.) Greta Sylvia Flight passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on Sunday, May 20 2018 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her loving husband Eugene, parents Violet and Llewellyn Peddle, and brother-in-law Jim. Leaving to mourn her children Roxanne (Terrance), Rodney (Kim), and Russell; brothers John (Anne) and Graham (Phyllis), and sister Rosalind. Also leaving to mourn six grandchildren: Veronica, Morgan, Kelly, Karly, Rylee, and Kieran, as well as a large circle of friends and family. Special thanks to the caring staff at Hillcrest Estates and St. Clare’s hospital. Flowers or a donation to a charity of one’s choice are appreciated. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday May 26 and Sunday May 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from First United Church, Mt.
