James Kenneth Masters

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2018, James Masters, age 95 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Mabel (May 17, 2018); parents Willis and Mary Anne; sisters Anne, Gladys (Bill Grant); brothers William (Ben), Levi. Leaving to mourn his children Kenneth (Katherine), Beverley (James Dougherty), Jane Ann (Frank Green), Terrence (Melina Benson), Elaine, Monique (Kevin Wareham) and James (Clarice); step-son Wayne Slade (Lynn); 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; step-grandson David Wareham; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Clare’s for their tender care and kindness; his caregivers, Madonna Hynes, Jennifer Murphy & Sharon Street; and Dr. Essiji. Visitations at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 6 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to follow at Barrett’s Chapel at 12 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
