Jill Spencer

Passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital, March 20, 2018. Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Wilfred Watts, brother John Watts, sister-in-law, Eileen. Leaving to mourn her husband, Vincent Spencer; children Andrew, Bruce (Lucy), Charlotte Hallett (George), Donald (Cathy Davies), Elizabeth, (Jeff Emory); grandchildren: Amelia, Jason, Fiona, Jake, Connor, Remie and Vincent. Jill grew up in Hyde Park, London. After WWII, she met and married Vincent and moved to Canada, where she raised their children and lived out her days. Jill loved books, travel, her garden and life in general. Special thanks to her homecare workers and friends Trudy Gunn & Jackie Taylor. A sincere thanks to the nurses of 6 West at St. Clare's Hospital, whose professionalism, compassion and kindness went above and beyond the call of duty. Jill chose to be cremated, a ‘Celebration of Life' to honour our mom / nanny will be scheduled at a later date.
