John Lake

Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by his daughter Glenda, his niece Valerie and his daughter-in-law Vanessa on Saturday, June 16th, 2018, John Lake, age 95 years. Served with the Merchant Marines during World War II. Predeceased by his parents Mack and Mary Lake; his brother Sidney and sister Ada, his wife Evelyn in 2016. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted children: John (Vanessa), Glenda and Ken (Barbara); precious grandchildren: Mac, Glenda, Connor, Harrison, John and Catie; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Thanks to his special Angels that took care of him for the past four years at Agnes Pratt Home. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday, June 20th, and Thursday, June 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at 2 p.m. from The Carnell Memorial Chapel.
