John Ryan — MacPherson's Mills

Passed into the loving arms of our Lord at his home in Nova Scotia on Saturday, June 2, 2018, John Joseph Benedict Ryan, age 70 formerly of Goulds, NL. Predeceased by his parents, William E. Ryan, May 31, 1964 and Elizabeth Grace Ryan (nee McCann), May 27, 2000. Sisters: E. Beverly Tynion, May 5, 2017; Jane R. Woods, Dec. 25, 1992; Margaret R. Pratt, Jan. 17, 2018; C. Joan Whitten, Jan. 31, 2012. Twin Brother, Thomas Edward Ryan, May 29, 1986. Brothers-in-law: James Tynion, Ira (Bud) Kirk, John Robert Whitten, James Woods and Edward Pratt along with extended members of the Ryan Family. Leaving to mourn with fond and beautiful memories are his loving wife, Ruth (nee Fraser), his beloved children, Shirley Downes (Bill), John, Jennifer and Kayla. Grandchildren: Ryan, Lorelei and Liam Downes. Sisters: Gertrude Whitten (Ronald) and W. Elizabeth Kirk. Brothers: William J. Ryan (Patricia), and James J. Ryan (Lena). John leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place with a Family Christian Burial to occur at a later date.
