Kevin Lloyd Benson

With heavy hearts and a lifetime of wonderful memories we announce the passing of Kevin Benson at Pleasantview Towers on Monday, May 28, 2018. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy, parents Nita and Wesley Benson, sister Helen Flood and brother Tolson Benson. Leaving to mourn his children: three daughters Denise (Greg), Sherri Lynn (Howie), Colleen (Ashraf) and son Wesley (Shona); nine grandchildren: Adam, Aaron, Kristen, Jenna, Caitlyn, Andrew, Sophia, Cameryn and Carter; great-grandson Noah; siblings: Marie Squires, Olga Reed (Ken), Trilby Grimes (Carl) and Paul (Shelley); as well as a wide circle of other family and friends. Also a special thank you to Dr. Essaji, as well as Rochelle, Vicky, Christina and the team of 1 South East at Pleasantview Towers for their care and compassion for Kevin during the past several years. Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, May 30 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Thursday, May 31 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Caul’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
