Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, February 12, 2018, Louise Rose of Western Bay, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Chesley; sons: Robert and Lester; parents: Charles and Bessie Snelgrove; sister: Betsy (Raymond) Whalen. Leaving to mourn, her life companion: Roy King; one daughter: Shirley (Guy) Blais, Quebec; one son: Stephen (Velma), St. John’s; five grandchildren: Melaney (Guy), Andreanne (Jacob), Chesley Charles, Katelynn (Jeremy), and Jeff; nine great-grandchildren; Roy's children: Rick (Joanne) King, St. John’s Beverly (Wayne) White, Corner Brook, Joy (Steve) Line, Brampton, ON, and Denise (Chris) Yantha, Ottawa, ON; two brothers: Garland (Edwina) Snelgrove, Dartmouth, NS and Randell (Donna, deceased) Snelgrove, Toronto, ON; three sisters: Joan (Garfield) Crocker, Trenton, ON, Joyce Snelgrove, Paradise, and Audrey (Randy) Penney, Lethbridge; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, February 15 at 2:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South.
