Norma Benson (nee Rees)

Passed peacefully away at home, with her family by her side on February 12, 2018, Norma Benson, age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years Tolson, parents Martha and Reginald Rees, sisters: Irene and Bon. Left with many cherished memories are daughter Deanna; sons: Tony, Tolson (Annie) of BC, Chris of Alberta and Dan (Jennie) of Louisiana; grandchildren: James, Chris, Ruthie, Andrew, Brad and Chase; brother Dave (Gertie), and best friend Judy Dale. A beautiful, gentle natured lady who treasured her faith in God, loved unconditionally and always had kind words and encouragement to share. She had a lighthearted spirit, enjoyed life and pleasured in singing and dancing. Her long journey with Alzheimer’s Disease is now over. Final arrangements entrusted to the care of Barrett’s Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later time.
