Passed away surrounded by his loving family at Pleasant View Towers on Friday, August 17, 2018, Ronald Guest age 87 years. Predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Collins); sister Lillian Gosse; brothers: Harry (Irene) and Jim (Helen). Left to mourn his sister Nada Murphy (Pat-deceased) and brother Les; in-laws: James Collins and Dot (Christine-deceased), Llewellyn Collins (Eileen), Ken Collins (Eileen), Graham and Violet Collins (deceased). Also, his partner of 28 years Margaret Sullivan; his sons: Llewellyn (Daphne), Ronnie (Ann), Paul (Gina), Ken (Carolanne); his daughter Kelly Sullivan (Daniel Rousseau); grandchildren: Christopher (Charmaine), Lori (Adam), Lisa, Ronnie (Claire), Billy (Janet), Kevin, Kenny (Krissy), Curtis (Keisha), Benjamin, Sebastion, and Colin; great-grandchildren: Lenae, Phoenix, Keno, Davin, Kaiden, Hannah, Chloe, Abrianna, Christopher, Autumn and Heidi. Also step-in-laws: Beth Collins (Gerry Dunphy), Geri Davis (Kev), Helen Walsh (deceased), Mary Parmenter (deceased), Theresa Goving (Roy), Dot Bonsole (Dick), Tom Collins (Marie), Bill Collins, Pat Collins; other nieces, nephews, family and friends, too many to mention. After retiring from Carling O’Keefe, he looked forward to spending most of his time at the cabin on Witless Bay Line surrounded by friends and family and playing cards. We would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Towers, especially Leslie and Nicole. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 2-9pm and then on Tuesday from 10am-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
