Ruth Muriel Nelder

Passed peacefully away in the presence of family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, August 02, 2018, at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, brother Robert Baird (Evelyn), sisters Millicent Denine (John) and Marjorie Jenkins (John). She is survived by her children Carolyn McDonald (Kevin) and granddaughter Amy, Gerry Nelder (Helen), grandson Stephen, Susan Duguay (Robert) and grandson Marcus and Barbara Nelder (Rus). Also survived by sister Barb Baird (Tom), brothers Gordon Baird (Barb), David Baird (Kay), sisters-in-law Shirley Ryan (John), Ruby Nelder, Isabelle Oliver (Bill), Vera Ebsary, Betty Adams, and brother-in-law Randy Nelder (Christine), as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. As was Ruth’s request cremation has taken place and visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 10am to 2pm. Funeral service to follow at Barrett’s chapel at 2pm. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Ruth’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
