Sandra E. Howell

Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018. Predeceased by her parents Archibald and Phyllis Janes; and brothers Gary Janes and Billy Janes. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Sandra leaves with fond and loving memories her husband Melvin; children Billy (Michelle), Cory (Niki) and Michael; grandchildren - her princes and princesses, Danaka, Jessica, William, Amber, Michael Jr, Brody and Bailey; sisters Marilyn (Rommie) Hearn, Darlene (Albert) Poleman, and Tina Janes; brother Robert (Lydia) Janes; best friend Nita Warren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thank you to the nurses on the 5th floor of St. Clare’s. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road, Mt. Pearl on Thursday, March 8th from 11 am - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Innocent Church, Paradise Friday, March 9th at 2 pm with interment to follow. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
