Selma Maxine Perry (Tooton)

Age 98 It is with great love, respect and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother. Predeceased by her loving husband Eric, her parents Anthony and Minnie Tooton, brother Frank and great-grandson Rory. Selma will be greatly missed by her daughters Karen Walsh (Aiden), Linda Lush (Michael) and sons Robert and Tony (Nipa). Also her siblings Gwen Harris-Miller and family, Raymond Tooton (Catherine) and family. Nanny Perry will be loved and cherished forever by her adoring grandchildren Andrea Przywrej (Patrick), Laura Walsh-Martino (David), Matthew Walsh, Sarah Au (Curtis), Emily Lush (Simone) and great-grandchildren Mia, Kyson, Simon, Ivy, Lewis, Sam and Cecilia. A special thank you to Dr. Kathleen Halley, Roxanne Andrews, and the staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Centre and recently Glenbrook Lodge. Mom spent countless hours enjoying the music of VOWR. Donations can be made to the station in her memory. Family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday April 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday April 12 from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
