Thelma Elizabeth Clarke

Passed peacefully away on May 29, 2018 surrounded by loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by parents William and Pearl Morgan, infant daughter Roxanne, daughter Carolyn and sons, William and Rodney. Left with loving memories are her husband of 61 years, Harry Clarke, daughter Joanne Hanlon (Randy), 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brother Stanley Morgan, numerous brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces/nephews and cherished friends. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of the Dr. H Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, Palliative Care Unit (L.A. Miller Centre), Health Science Centre, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Community Health (St. John’s and Eastport) and the Palliative Care Home Support Team. We are forever grateful. Cremation has taken place. Resting at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Happy Adventure on Saturday 1-5 and 7-9, Sunday 1-5. Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 4th at 2pm from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Happy Adventure. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thelma’s memory may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Happy Adventure.
