Theofilos Gardias

Born in Greece on December 6, 1952 On April 9th 2018, after numerous attempts at resuscitation through 911, Eastern Health Paramedics, and the St John's Regional Fire Department, Theofilos (Theo) Gardias passed peacefully away after years of battling Diabetes. Theo is predeceased by his brother Nicholas, sister Dina, mother Helene, and father George in Greece. As well as his father-in-law James Curtis and brother-in-law Fabian Curtis. Theo leaves to mourn his dearest friend and mother of their children Sharon; his loving and devoted children Jamie, Nicholas and Alexus; his mother-in-law Mary Curtis; sisters and brothers-in-law Patricia Sjoberg, Christopher Curtis, Agnes Curtis; and a little granddaughter Chloe in Alberta. Theo leaves behind many relatives and friends in Athens, Greece. Theo also leaves behind a huge circle of friends in Newfoundland, and not to forget, his little fur-friend Max, whom he shared joint custody with Sharon. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, April 12 from 12-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from Caul’s Chapel on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Theo immigrated to Canada in 1984 and made his home in Newfoundland.
