1939 - 2018 Passed away suddenly ay Newhook's Clinic, Whitbourne, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by infant daughter, Valerie Jean, mother & father Fred & Bessie Reid, parents-in-law Samuel & Marcella Mercer, brothers; Fred & Darrell Reid, sister-in-law Vinnie & brother-in-law Robert Mercer Sr. Leaving to mourn his wife of 61 years Melba, daughter Darlene (Rodney Moores). Grandchildren; Candee Reid, Stacy Reid, Sammi-Jo (Adam Reid). Great-grandchildren; Billie Jean Reid, Cameron Reid, Morgan Keating, Damien Reid, Tyler Pilgrim. Survived by brother Ron (Bea) Reid. sisters; Marjorie, Phyllis (Irving) Moore, Jean (Wayne Pinsent), Betty (Larry) McIsaac, sister-in-law Ella Harnum, and close friends, George & Gloria Dawe, Tom & Frances Howe. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews, friends & family. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Thursday, Sept. 20, 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Friday, Sept. 21, 10:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Saturday, Sept. 22, 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 4:00 pm from St. Barnabes Anglican Church, Blaketown.
