It is about time that drivers started driving smarter, safer and more responsible.

If it is so important to be somewhere at a certain time, be sure to leave home early enough to get there safely.

I am a firm believer that all police cars should be well marked, making their presence more visible to the driving public. We often hear motorists saying that they drove all the way across the province and never saw a patrol car.

This should never be so.

The sight of a patrol car does get your attention! Human nature will cause you to make sure that you are driving within the speed limit and paying proper attention to the road and your driving.
